Can we ever truly know? What is obvious may not be such, and what is clear may be cloudy. Can we ever possibly say, “Yes, I know it to be so”?
Never- there are too many factors, too many variables. We walk through every day, trusting what our eyes see, yet blind to how our eyes see, and how they don’t. We believe in the machinations of logic, yet fail to see them as machinations. And everyone knows the heart lies- don’t they?
How do we know? If truth is a lie, if knowledge is a lie, how do we carry on?
We need the lie.
