Day 10: Brevity

I’ve only got a few minutes today, so, a poem:

Fighting

Words are knives, hurled

With vicious speed but

Somehow blunter. Like

A club,

An axe,

A mace?

How do you find

A metaphor

For something

That robs them from

Your mind

As the red haze of anger

Takes over

And your argument

Goes on?
